Samsung: „Das iPhone 5 verletzt acht Patente“

Schlechte Verlierer? Das am 25. August gesprochen Urteil im Patentrechtsverfahren zwischen Samsung und Apple (ifun.de berichtete) scheint nicht spurlos an den Koreanern vorbeigegangen sein. So hat Samsung das iPhone 5 heute in ein seit Februar anhängiges Verfahren aufgenommen und listet Apples neues iPhone jetzt als eines der Geräte, die acht von Samsung gehaltene Patente verletzten sollen.

Der Patentrechts-Experte Florian Müller hat ein Bild der Samsung-Anfrage veröffentlicht:

Samsung formally filed a request with the court in a parallel Apple v. Samsung two-way litigation (which started in February 2012) to add the iPhone 5 to the list of products accused of infringing eight Samsung patents. […] The October 1 filing now says that „as soon as [the] iPhone 5 was available for purchase, Samsung began its investigation of the product and within a week „determined that the iPhone 5 practiced its patented technologies“.

Die Koreaner hatten den Angriff auf Apples neueste Geräte-Generation bereit am 20 September angekündigt.
