Zwei Jahre nach \u00dcbernahme<\/a> des B\u00fcrosoftware-Anbieters Quickoffice hat Google den Office-Nachbau jetzt aus dem App Store entfernt und setzt zuk\u00fcnftig ausschlie\u00dflich auf die Ende April lancierten<\/a> Anwendungen „Google Docs“ und „Google Tabellen“. <\/p>\n

Die beiden auch offline nutzbaren Applikationen gestatten die kostenlose Bearbeitung von Tabellenkalkulationen und Word-Dokumenten im Microsoft-Office Stil und arbeiten mit Googles Online-Speicher, dem Google Drive zusammen. <\/p>\n

Google selbst hat das Ende des Quickoffice-Angebotes im Hausblog<\/a> angek\u00fcndigt und die korrespondierenden Downloads sowohl aus dem Google Play Store als auch aus Apples App Store zur\u00fcckgezogen. <\/p>\n

Bestandskunden k\u00f6nnen die Anwendung derzeit zwar noch weiter nutzen, Aktualisierungen wird es f\u00fcr die Quickoffice-Applikationen jedoch nicht mehr geben.<\/p>\n

With the integration of Quickoffice into the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps, the Quickoffice app will be unpublished from Google Play and the App Store in the coming weeks. Existing users with the app can continue to use it, but no features will be added and new users will not be able to install the app.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
