Ein Modul, das den Pegel kommender Macs bzw. der n\u00e4chsten iPhone-Generation, abh\u00e4ngig von der Umgebungslautst\u00e4rke steuern k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4hnliches kennen wir vom Display des iPhones. Ist die Umgebung eher dunkel, wird auch das Multitouch-Display nicht mehr &#8222;volle Kanne&#8220; beleuchtet.<\/p>\n<p>Ein &#8222;Ambient Sound Sensor&#8220; h\u00e4tte durchaus seine Berechtigung. Ob nun f\u00fcr die Regulierung der Klingelton-Lautst\u00e4rke im n\u00e4chsten Meeting, oder beim Rechner-Start in der Bibliothek (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=T-uYju9qW_w\">Youtube-Video<\/a> zum Thema).<\/p>\n<p>AppleInsider zitiert den Text der Patentschrift und schreibt:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8222;For instance, a user who adjusts the volume of a mobile phone ring tone for a loud environment may later move to a quieter environment, where the loud ring will be disruptive,&#8220; the filing explains. &#8222;Similarly, powering up a laptop computer in a quiet lecture hall or home may result in an inappropriately loud and disruptive boot sound. Alternatively, a volume level which is optimized for a quiet environment may not be detectable if the associated device is moved to a louder environment, which can result in a missed audio signal.&#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8222;For example, for a device playing music, the system may take samples from the sound sensor between songs, or between words in a song, to determine the ambient noise in a surrounding room,&#8220;Apple said. &#8222;If the system detects that the room is loud, it may raise the device output volume.
