Die kostenfreie iOS-Anwendung a-Shell<\/a> versorgt iPhone und iPad mit einem umfangreichen Terminal-Emulator<\/a>, der euch auch auf Apples Touchscreen-Ger\u00e4ten mit einer Kommandozeile ausstattet.<\/p>\n

Statt auf eine Standard-Shell wie bash oder zsh setzt die a-Shell-App von Nicolas Holzschuch auf das Open-Source-Projekt ios_system<\/a>, um eigegebene Kommandos zu interpretieren und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, alle auch von ios_system verstandenen Befehle zu implementieren. Zu diesen geh\u00f6ren unter anderem: nslookup, whois, python3, lua, pdflatex und lualatex.<\/p>\n

a-Shell muss sich wie alle iPhone-Apps an Apples Sandbox-Beschr\u00e4nkungen halten, ist ansonsten jedoch vollumf\u00e4nglich nutzbar. So gestattete das Terminal das Erstellen von Verzeichnissen und Dateien, besitzt vollen Netzwerk-Zugriff und kann so auch auch Python-Pakete \u00fcber „pip install“ nachladen und installieren.<\/p>\n

Neben Python versteht sich a-Shell auch auf Lua und C und kann eure Programme entsprechend direkt ausf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

a-Shell konkurriert mit der LibTerm-App<\/a>, die ebenfalls auf ios_system setzt und dem iSH-Projekt<\/a> (nur \u00fcber TestFlight verf\u00fcgbar), das einen eigenen x86-Emulator mitbringt.<\/p>\n\t\n\t
