Die russische Seite RussianiPhone.ru will eine erste Beta des anstehenden Firmware-Updates 2.2.1 im Einsatz haben und macht auf den nun von Apple implementierten Push-Dienst aufmerksam.
So könnte das lang erwartete Feature kurz vor dem Release stehen und etlichen, im AppStore vertretenden Applikationen, bald den Zugriff auf Apples Push Notification Service gewähren. Ein weiteres Fundstück: Selbst Notizen sollen sich mit Version 2.2.1 des iPhone OS nun mit MobileMe synchronisieren lassen.
MacRumors, bleibt skeptisch:
“MacRumors can’t verify these claims at this time. Apple has not yet seeded iPhone 2.2.1 Beta 1 to developers, so if RussianiPhone.ru does have a copy, they obtained it outside of any public distribution.”
