Entwickler: Probleme mit der Sichtbarkeit neuer Apps

Ein Bug in Apples mobiler Version des AppStore, verhindert momentan die Anzeige neu eingestellter Applikationen, sortiert man die Kategorien des AppStores nach dem Datum der Veröffentlichung. Eine ernste Angelegenheit, glaubt man den verärgerten Entwicklern.

„This really stinks! I know this is seriously effecting alot of developers but it’s killing me. I waited a month and a half for app approval only to get it and have my app devoured by this little FUBAR! „

So ist Apples offizielles Entwickler-Forum (wohl auch wegen dem Vorab-Release des iPhone OS) momentan nicht zu erreichen, von der Support-Hotline gibt es widersprüchliche Aussagen:

Me: Were you aware of this issue.
Apple person: No
—5 seconds later—
Apple Person: We have been working diligently to address this problem
Me: I thought you just told me that you were unaware of any issue and that the store was fine?

Und auch die Umsätze der betroffenen Entwickler scheinen einzubrechen:

„Yes mines down by 50% by my current estimations although it’s more of a fun spare time thing for me its still anoying. 50 Apps, blimey, what’s your main site Ethan.„
